Ten Best Restaurants in Philadelphia with Outdoor Seating

There's so many things I love about the summer season (minus sweating),
and one of these things is eating delicious food outdoors in the warm sunshine.
So for today's blog post I wanted to share a few of my favorite spots in Philadelphia with outdoor seating that will make you drool as much as the food these restaurants serve.

Presenting to you:
Ten Best Restaurants in Philly with Outdoor Seating
(in no particular order)

If you follow me on instagram, you've probably seen me talk about this spot quite often.
It's super adorable retro/french decor makes this a super cute spot for a date with your girlfriends.
If you're going for brunch, I personally prefer their sweet options like the Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast and Monkey Bread. But if you're not feeling those options, a great savory option is their Croque Madame.
I've only been there twice for dinner so I haven't had a chance to try too many of their entrees, but when I had the Trout Amandine I certainly wanted seconds!

This place is another one with a super cute interior, but it also has a cute garden in the front of the restaurant that I adored.
Their manu has changed since the last time I was there, so I haven't had a chance to try their newest options. But the one thing I do remember: We ordered four different dishes and they were divine! So I'm sure their new menu is just as delicious.

I once chose this spot for a birthday dinner and it did not disappoint!
When you step into their garden space, it does not feel like you are in the city at all. It's absolutely magical!
Their salmon and scallops dishes were quite magical as well!
Talula's Garden

This is probably one of Philadelphia's top restaurants. It's usually always pretty packed and getting last minute reservations there is very tough on a weekend.
Being that it's located on Rittenhouse Square, this place is at one of Philly's prime locations for an outdoor meal. The French cuisine + the gorgeous location makes you feel like you have been transported for a meal somewhere in France. It's literally THAT good!
If you're going there for a dinner, their Salmon Tartare is a must for me. If you're a lover of all sorts of meats, this restaurant will be a heaven for dinner because they have so many different entrees to choose from. I love ending my night here with an espresso in hand and just enjoying people watching from afar.
Although I love Parc for dinner, I think brunch is my all-time favorite here. I don't know if it's just because I love being in the sun or what, but this location is perfect for a weekend morning.
Parc: Salmon Tartare & Oysters

If I ever want a reservation for a spot on Rittenhouse Square but Parc is all booked up, I always try Rouge next. It's another delicious spot just a few feet from Parc with a perfect view of Rittenhouse Square.
Although I've never been here for dinner, I can certainly vouch for their brunch, and it's a good one!

Oh my goodness, if you ever crave a burger, this needs to be your spot
It might be a $20 burger, but it will be the absolute best burger of your life.
Although their outdoor seating is not as cute as the other spots on this list, it's still pleasant to sit on a city street and just enjoy the hustle + bustle around you.

This creperie has so many different options, no matter which sweet or savory craving you are having.
I need to go to this spot more often. It's in a quaint little neighborhood that has quite a charm to it and you can explore it after your meal as you walk off the calories.

Even if you don't get a seat outdoors here, the floor to ceiling glass windows at this restaurant make it feel like you're basically almost outdoors. Plus it's located right on the Schuylkill River so the breeze helps keep you a bit cooler in the summer heat.
Although I haven't tried this spot for brunch, it's definitely a bucket list item of mine for this summer.
But I sure did love their lemon ricotta toast, dayboat scallops, and Wild Massachusetts Hake for dinner!

I love the location of this little cafe! It's perfect for a little stroll after a delicious brunch.
Like Walnut St Cafe, it also has gorgeous windows that make it feel like you are basically outside in their garden, even if you aren't able to sit outside.

Ok, so this spot isn't technically a spot with outdoor seating, but it basically is because it's located in a gorgeous greenhouse setting that makes it such a gorgeous space for a sunny brunch. Plus it's surrounded by a little shopping area that will inspire you to begin gardening if you're not already into it. To top it off, they serve their bread basket in a terracotta flower pot instead of a basket. I mean, how cute?!
Although, to be honest, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for dinner. It's best if you come here for brunch.

I hope you found this post helpful and it inspires you to have a meal outdoors in the summer sunshine. Which restaurant are you looking forward to trying?!
If you've already tried any of these spots, which one has been your favorite?!

Also, if you haven't already heard, I have a #PhillyFoodie instagram where I share more restaurants and cafes in the Philadelphia area, be sure to follow along (@love.everything.delish)!
